Staub
Switzerland
We are particularly pleased with this pair of skis since we have resurrected them! They were in a very bad state of repair when we received them courtesy of the Scottish Ski Club, having been used outside for advertising purposes.
We stripped them down, cleaned them up and reassembled them…proper job!
We only discovered they were Staub skis when we saw the logo under the binding.
Staub were a pretty up market ski imported from Switzerland by companies such as Lillywhites of London and the Sportsman’s Emporium in Glasgow then sold on to enthusiastic Scottish skiers in the 1930/40’s.
