Provenance

A guy called Paul Seddon was the brains behind 'PARBA', a firm that produced an innovative range of climbing/ mountaineering gear in the 1960's. He teamed up with Tony Howard and Alan Waterhouse in 1970 to form 'Troll', the equally innovative and iconic company that is still going strong in 2010.
A 'Big H' is the name Paul gave this device for placing into rock cracks to protect the lead climber. Unusually, this one is on wire, though rope could be threaded through the same holes. This one was salvaged by Mick Tighe from somewhere!
