Provenance

This rather bizarre set of homemade crampons were brought back from Eastern Europe (Romanian we think) by a friend of Mick Tighe's who had been visiting some climbers out there. Though a little odd, they are lovingly and painstakingly made and probably functional, though we haven't tried! They are also, of course, a wonderful example of innovation in times of need for whatever reason.
