Provenance

Mo Anthoine started Snowdon Mouldings(SM) back in the early 1970’s along with his pal, Joe Brown. They both went into business to fund their lifestyle which was climbing. They both wanted to ‘ run a business but not to be run by it’
SM are probably best remembered for their Curver Ice Axe, brainchild of blacksmith, John Brailsford, and manufactured by SM.
Helmets were made for Joe Brown’s own brand as well as for Snowdon Mouldings. If you have to look at our other SM Helmet, the El Cap, you’ll see that things were not always perfect!
