Brief Description

Red plastic container with safety matches. Yellow rubber top. Screw off bottom. Black elastoplast tape has been wound round middle. Safety matches inside.

These matches are waterproof and allegedly can be struck under water - though one wonders what you want to light underwater! They are, of course, great for camping and these ones would seem to be of military origin, probably from some sort of survival kit which Mick Tighe collected during his Royal Marine days.
