Provenance

Tri-Cams appeared on the market around 1980/81 - one of the many new ideas for protecting the lead climber, some of which were a huge success, others that were not. The one we have here in the collection is a variant that doesn't quite conform to the original design but at least sticks to the principal. Lowe marketed the original version, and Mick Tighe's mate, Clive Roberts created this one, which along with one or two other items, he swapped Mick for a foot/treadle operated lathe!
