The climbing rope of the 1960's and 1970's which bridged the gap between the hemp version of the early 1900's and the modern kernmantel ones we see today.
This beautiful 'boxed' version was bought by Mick Tighe from the legendary Johnny Lees, Mountain Guide and RAF Mountain Rescuer. Johnny had 'borrowed' the rope from the RAF but forgot to return it!
