Provenance

Henri - Lloyd began life in 1963, the name being an amalgam of its two founder members, Henri Strzelocki and Angus Lloyd. They were based in Manchester, specialising in sailing apparel and outdoor clothing, using materials such as Bri-nylon and neoprene which we think this jacket is made from, before progressing onto Gore-tex fabrics later on. We suspect the jacket we have here dates from around 1980 and could be what they called the Glencoe Jacket.
