We don't know an awful lot about Irbis karabiners except that they are made in Russia. We do have some Irbis ice screws in the collection which are made from titanium but whether or not these karabiners are too, we are not sure, though they feel rather heavy to be titanium.
We've added them to the collection as a bit of a curio and would like to thank mountain guide and veteran of the Scottish hills, Allan Fyffe, for giving them to us.
