We have a lovely little pair of vintage, child's ski poles here in the collection which we suspect date from the 1950's or possibly as far back as the 30's. They are in near perfect condition having had little, or no use.
Poles like these rarely have a maker's name and these are no exception,though it's interesting to note that many were home made and you could buy ' make your own ' kits back in the old days.
This pair once belonged to long time member of the Ladies Scottish Climbing Club, Pamela Cain and they were pssed on to us when she headed off for the greater ranges in 2014.
