For anyone interested in early petrol and paraffin stoves there's an excellent website called classiccampstoves.com from which we have gleaned much of the information about the little Radius stove that we have here in the collection.
All indications are that our little stove dates from the early 1930's since the shooting star logo - opposite - seems to have been discontinued around 1938 and 'Radius' became 'Radius Ltd.' around the same time. We bought our wee stove on e-Bay for a few pounds in 2016 and it seems to have had a rather rough cleaning job done since the lettering is somewhat diminished as a result.
Unfortunately, it also arrived without its tin which also doubles for a pot stand, so we are now on the hunt for a Radius No. 42 tin - please let us know if you have one in the loft!
