Bit of a curio this fella as it bears a Mountain Hardwear logo which is nothing like the modern version and, since the 'modern' Mountain Hardwear only began life in 1993, we suspect this wee cag comes from an earlier version - probably not the same company.
How all this came about and what happened with the patent law, logo protection etc. we are not sure.
We do know that it's a fine looking cagoule bought by our old pal, John McCall, probably in the 1980's. He subsequently passed it and the puzzle on to us - thanks John.
