Provenance

Thomas Black and son of Greenock in Scotland were prime movers in the outdoor leisure world in the 1950/60’s with iconic items such as their Icelandic and Pal-o-mine sleeping bags, their Black’s mountain tents and a range of hard wearing, useable and innovative camping accessories.
In a world of plastic bottles and aluminium cans, this water bucket seems a little dated, and it is.....probably from the 1950’s.
It’s also rather more environmentally friendly than its modern counterparts, being made from canvas and rope.
An idea and design which still holds water !
