Provenance:
Bought by Mick Tighe from a lady called Molly Clough who lived in the Lake District. The stove had belonged to her son who died in an accident in Gardyloo Gully on Ben Nevis. By a strange and rather sad coincidence the son of Molly’s second husband also died in the same accident.
