Provenance:
Fjallraven (mountain fox) began life back in 1960 when a Swedish guy called Ake Nordin made a backpack in the cellar of his house and decided to make a business out of it, he did, and Fjallraven went on to produce tents, clothing and a variety of things for the great outdoors. They still do as we write this in 2025.

The Expedition tent we have here in the collection is one of their products which we think dates from the 1980s (?), it has been well used and finally donated by our good friend Klaus Schwartz, a German and British Mountain Guide.

P.S. We found a 1981 Fjallraven catalogue with a rather detailed ‘Tent Table’ which features what looks like our tent – though exactly which one we are not quite sure!
