Bit of a puzzle this one. We found it when clearing out an old shed and don’t really know where it came from. “Made to Graham Tiso Specification” is the only clue and this puts the date of manufacture at around 1970/75 as Graham was in his heyday around that time, producing all kinds of gear via his Edinburgh based shop (a much bigger enterprise continues to be run by his sons in 2011)A firm called Tulloch Mountain Craft made clothing for Tiso about this time and it could be one of theirs. We are also a bit stuck on the material, but think it’s ventile. We do know that it is a very well made jacket which doesn’t seem to have had much use so we are pleased that it was salvaged.
