Provenance:
Named after Ed Leeper, a climber from Colorado, Leepers have a unique ‘Z’ section with excellent holding power when placed correctly. They were – and still are – popular for winter climbing in Scotland as the two sharper edges of the ‘Z’ section ‘bite’ really well in icy cracks. One of these five once belonged to Lochaber Mountain Rescue Association (LMRA), the others were part of our founder Mick Tighe’s rack.
