Provenance:
‘Nuclear’ is perhaps not the best name to give to a set of cooking pots and as this set appears to date from the 1960s, not so long after the Americans had dropped a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima, it’s no wonder that the ‘Nuclear’ brand doesn’t seem to have been around for very long – if anyone knows otherwise please let us know.

We’re not 100% sure if this set was for use in the kitchen or the camp, though the lightweight aluminium construction would seem to favour the latter. They were kindly donated by Ian Cooper on behalf of his aunt & uncle, Ellen & John Cooper. Looks like they’ve only used one of the three, the other two are still as new. They don’t quite match together neatly, but do look very pretty and would decorate the kitchen or campsite nicely!
