A bit tricky to identify some of these Optimus stoves with the various models; Hunter, Hiker, Climber, Ranger etc.,though we are pretty sure we have a Hunter here in the collection dating from the 1970’s. You can read what Optimus say about the Hunter in the advert opposite. This stove once belonged to Roger O’Donovan, who, amongst many other things, was Deputy Principal at Scotland’s National Outdoor Centre, Glenmore Lodge. Roger passed away some moons ago and this stove was kindly donated by his wife, Jane.
