Provenance:
Real characters of the piton world these fellas. Things of the homemade variety have always been our passion, reflecting a time when gear wasn’t as available as it is nowadays and folk couldn’t always afford it if it was.

Unfortunately we don’t know who, but someone has fashioned these guys in a workshop at home, or more likely in an engineering workshop where grinders, cutters, files & drills were readily available. They seem to have been battered around a bit in the process of being made, but don’t seem to have been battered into any rock fissures. We’re guessing they were made in the 1950s or 60s and we have a word to describe them – fabulous!
