Provenance:
It’s hard to tell if these skis are made from specially laminated wood, or simply cut from a sheet of plywood, as nearly a dozen thin strips of wood are glued together to make the ski. Unfortunately, we can’t find a maker’s name to research the manufacturing process, though there are various numbers stamped onto the heel of each ski. The Mesta Taipuns bindings are a mystery too, as we can’t find anything about them, though they are one of the many variations of the Kandahar binding. So, a mysterious and interesting little pair of skis of which we hope to find out more.
